Prof. Dr Lyndon Marc Evans

MB, BCh, FRCP, MD

• Dr Evans is a Consultant Diabetologist at the University Hospital of Llandough in Cardiff, where he has held this position since 2003.
• He has a very active research interest, particularly in the fields of health economics, health outcomes, epidemiology, and pharmacoepidemiology.
• He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers and abstracts across these fields and has also supported various Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions for differing novel therapies across a variety of disease areas.
• He is currently Editor-in-Chief of Diabetes Therapy, a journal specifically focused on therapeutic issues in diabetes.

Dr. Rajiv Awasthi

MD (KGMC), FICP, FISH, FIACM

• Dr Rajiv Awasthi is the Director of Prarthana Clinic & Diabetes Care Centre, Lucknow with over 35 years of experience.
• He is the President of the Lucknow Diabetes Study Group and the Past Chairman of the Association of Physicians of India (API), Lucknow Chapter.
• He has completed training fellowship in Diabetes at the Joslin Institute, USA, and the Baker Institute, Australia.
• Dr Awasthi has presented his research at eminent gatherings such as the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
